Wheat Kings 4pm Starts

So this is the second season KM has had these 4 pm games on Sundays. I assume the intent is to increase food sales, I'm not sure. But in talking to other fans and season ticket holders, I have yet to find one person who likes them. Is there anyone out there who likes 4 o'clock starts, or would you rather see them at 2, 6 or 7?

That number is obviously skewed because it was Remembrance Day.

mind them. The Regina-Lethbridge game is also 4pm. And by looking in the WHL schedule, 4pm starts on Sundays seem to be norm for many other games in the league. So it looks to be more of a league thing than a Kelly McCrimmon thing.

I don't mind a 4:00 game. It's easier with kids especially on a school night. We snack before the game and again after, we don't purchase any more than usual snacks at the game.

Big reason will be that the visiting team gets back home at a better time. Sometimes it's just about the players and not the fans.

They've played 3 games in 3 nights before so I don't think thats it. Sounds like there are more folks than I thought that like it though. As for taking kids, you could still take them to a 2 o'clock start just as easy and be home for supper as a family.

Maybe its my schedule that makes it not work for me. If I work days I can't go, and if I work nights I can't go. Stupid job!

I am not a season ticket holder but I love the 4:00 start times. I have three young kids who love to watch the games but a 7:00 start is too late on most nights.
The 4:00 game today didn't have a really great turn out but I wonder if that, maybe, had to do with the fantastic weather too.
