I have been too busy to be a regular fan, but a friend asked me a couple of question I could not answer.  
 
Is Saturday, December 12 the Teddy Bear Toss?  
 
Is there a deal for seven-year-old children as a full $18 ticket is not in her budget at the moment. Would anyone have a spare ticket for a really cheap price?  

The teddy bear toss is on Saturday. Have your friend check with your school for a free ticket. The wheat kings did many visits recently and gave out free tickets to students in grades 1-4 in most schools. Some schools got free tickets for the higher grades .

Check the ebrandon classified, often tickets for sale.  
 
A child age 7 ticket is $7, the adult ticket is $18

for everyone going to the game to make sure that the goal is good and not waved off, weather immediately or after review. I've seen it a few times where it was a quick reaction but the goal is waved off and people start throwing teddy bears on the ice. And even after the PA announcer says no goal and to stop throwing, people ignore. And it happened a few weeks ago in the OHL. The goalie actually made the save. But the goal judge put the goal light on.

In this video, looks like the puck rings off the post and the ref signals no goal immediately. The PA announcer even says hold the bears which goes ignored. Seems like an avalanche, once it begins it does stop till there's no more snow sliding.

The grandmother was able to get back to Brandon in time to take her granddaughter. The friend ended up cancelling at the last minute, but it was a lovely evening for the two of them.
