| | | Best City in the World said "Paps was awful at the start of the season. Couldn't stop a beach ball. What happens if he is injured and you have no idea what the back up can do. The Winnipeg Jets recent play comes to mind. They are in the basement of the league because their starting goalie is hurt. Back up comes in and sucks, the players in front of him play horrible. These are kids. Would you want to travel with the team, not play with hopes of your team mate getting injured to get a chance. Makes no sense. Thompson when given a handful of opportunities to play was outstanding. I guess McK wants all the eggs in one basket. I would sooner play on a crappy team and get some playing time than open the gate and carry a clipboard. Perhaps it is a good experience to be a future coach. " |

has started in 14 games, including games where Papirny was injured. Again, what your saying happens on ALL hockey teams in ALL league. When you have a starting goalie that doing great, your backup is on the bench. Jordan is 5th best goalie in the league. Logan will likely get tossed in to start a few games, but his role is as a backup.
Everett Silvertips have played 45 games, and their starter (Carter Hart) has played 42 of them. Their back up has only been in 6 games.
