I don't want to get too excited, but it sure seems like this year's team is rounding into form at just the right time. 8 games to go, would be nice to see a minimum of 6 more wins. It goes without saying, but Hawryluk and Patrick have become the best 1-2 punch in the league. They are dialed right in to each other. With one quick yell last night, Patrick found Hawryluk in the slot for his 5th - Patrick didn't even look up - he just new where Hawryluk was going to be!!! Fun to watch - keep it up boys. " |

Devil's advocate might point out that over those 25 games they're 7-0-2 vs non-playoff teams and 10-6-0 in 16 games vs teams that are in a playoff spot.... but even still, they've outscored playoff teams 66-38 over those 16 games which isn't too shabby in itself.
Devil's advocate might also mention that they've lost to divisional and potential playoff opponents Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, Regina over that stretch. Makes games vs Warriors and Pats in these last couple weeks that much more important!
