48 hrs. of fishing different species of fish

Earlier this year I seen a fishing show on YouTube called 39 hrs. There are nine episodes that are about 20-40 mins. long. It's three groups in pairs of two from three different provinces.They compete against each other for the biggest fish for each different kind of fish that they catch. A friend and myself were thinking of trying to do this our self next year against friends from Regina. I am asking for suggestions on what Lake and fish are best to catch a specific fish? Pike, Walleye, bass, perch, trout(brown,lake,rainbow), and any other fish at any lake that you can suggest?
