    With all the talk about winter sports, it's great to see there's an alternative for girls here in Brandon! The fees are reasonable too! It's a very popular sport in other cities, hope it will continue grow here too!

    For sure they Can play hockey. There is female leagues for Atom age and Older. They can play mixed at any age from tim bits and up. there is even a girls rec league if they don't want to play with the boys at the younger leagues.

    My post should have been more clear. There was no mention about hockey at all. Maybe I should have said it's nice to see kids play no matter what sport. I think it's great to have choices!

    My original post was just being sarcastic. I played on several boys teams as a girl. I'm just not liking the sexist remark. perhaps a good alternative for everyone would have been a better choice of words for the poster. as girls are completely capable of playing any sport men or boys play.
