Great moment to see a Wheat King get drafted so high. Tough times in Brandon to be picking an NHL team to pull for. All of the WK players on Flyers, all of the off-ice WK connection in Vegas and of course the Jets (or those of you that choose to pull for "other" ;) )!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but #2 is the highest a Wheat King has ever been drafted. Congrats to him!

we have seen the last of Patrick back in Brandon. With Schenn traded away from Philadelphia, Patrick will be with the Flyers next season.
An 18 year old must be with the parent club that drafted them or returned to their junior team. With an opening at centre, it is Patrick's to lose, which won't likely happen.
