I would pay good money to read those texts. 2 straight men flirting, thinking theyre so smooth,thinking it's going well. ha!

It''s not really a relationship until WAY after you meet them. :-) Never get your hopes up before meeting someone. Some people act like they are in a relationship before they ever set eyes on each other, only to be sadly disappointed in person. So many people are not what they seem.

It's quite comical honestly! Lol I mean your previous posts made it clear without a doubt that you were male hitting/ trying to chat with the local women. So howd they miss that I wonder????

I feel your pain! However not quite the same situation, but I have had guys talking to me and telling me everything that I wanted to hear and me keeping a distance because its too much too soon and we have not met yet. Then they show their true colors and I am left disappointed and needing to move on.

Didn't think to take a look at the profile to see if they were male of female? I would think that would be in the first set of questions someone asks even if it didn't say? I dunno but I know I would be asking that right from the beginning. Comical to read that is for sure and the other comments everyone has posted.

I think he read just the subject of my post “single women” and contacted me, and I (being ridiculously positive as always) was naively under the impression that it was a response for my post. Regarding whole day texting, we were merely figuring out a common time to meet in-between our busy schedule that day. After my ebrandon posts about looking for a local single women, it might come as a surprise to many of you, but I’m a classy guy (so is he). So when we discovered the gender confusion, we texted good-bye in a true Canadian spirit by exchanging apologies and wishing good luck…  
 
By the way if anyone’s still wondering, I’m still waiting for the nice and tight hug. Told you, CLASSY guy

For the members who im assuming filled out or shared that portion when they initially signed up. Click on their name and it may show it. The op's says male.

Maybe your excitement and the way you two dudes clicked is suggestive of something more?

turn this around - if you found a friend in him, don''t sever this relationship - you might have lots of fun in your future, go double dating, help eachother with "brojects" - kwim??? Its cool to have dude friends too - someone to have as a sounding board - you made a friend, enjoy this opportunity to get some "bro friends" . . . go canoeing/camping with, game with etc

Our only common interest was/is/will-be single woman and that's why we exchanged best wishes and called it off
