    I received a Pay Pal notice that Supposedly I had sent a payment of $105 to River Valley Alliance in Alberta. I Googled the name. The company is legit, but they have been hacked. If anybody sees a similar message about a Pay Pal payment to River Valley Alliance, do NOT click through the link! Just a heads up to save everybody some potential grief. http://www.rivervalley.ab.ca/news/email-scam-alert/

    Received these notices before too. They look legit. They have the correct logo, colors, etc. However, if you check to see who sent the message, it will be some strange e-mail address. A legit message will actually be from Pay Pal, not some unknown address.
