I'm trying to complete my 2017 tax return using UFile and I am getting a message that is preventing me from transmitting my tax return. The errors are as follows:  
 
Below MaxBack Optimizations: The Manitoba Personal Tax Credit is not being claimed because your income is too high.  
Below MaxBack notes and analysis: You are not eligible to file the Federal return using Netfile. If you are not able to correct the problems shown above you will need to file a printed return.  
 
I have a very basic return - 3 T4's, rent and 2 T3's.  
Any idea what is preventing me from filing my return electronically?

Did you check to see if there were any updates that needed to be done to the Ufile program? Once you start the program there is a spot that says check for updates. Click that. I know I bought the program from staples and installed it on my computer. Did my taxes and I couldn’t submit. It’s because I had an update!!!

Did you over-ride any fields on the Manitoba Tax credits form? Sounds like you tried to claim the credit but should not have.
