Moving out of town and was just wondering the internet options for rural areas. Wont be out of town very far, 1 or two miles. Contacted mts and they said no. Ive heard of RF now and Netset, Havent heard good things about netset. How is RF now? Any other options?

We have RFnow and i pay $90ish a month. Its better then i would have thought . We dont download to many huge files but when i do it still isnt that bad. I had to buy a router so i got a good one.

used Xplornet for decades. We have been happy.

If RFNow is an option, then they are the best choice. I was with them until they had to move their receiver to a location north of Brandon, and they worked with me (above and beyond, really) to try and be able to provide service to me still, but it just wasn't meant to be. If ever they became an option again, I would go back to them in a heartbeat.  
 
Last I checked, they did not have monthly caps on the volume of data you could pass through your connection before incurring additional charges. NetSet has data caps, and in an age of 80GB video games and 4k streaming television, you can blow through 240GB of data (the highest cap with their highest plan, about $180/mo. after taxes) in a heartbeat.

We have had no problems with NetSet.

We’ve got net set, can’t wait to get rid of it if something else becomes available. $150/month and that’s not their fastest speed (I add data to be able to watch Netflix, but it’s still not enough and we go close to going over our data allowance regularly)

We have been really happy with our internet with RFNow! $100 a month and we stream, download and have multiple things running off the wifi at a time and have had no issues with buffering. I would definitely recommend getting in touch with them so they can check out the signal from your new place!

we have netset and also cannot wait to get rid of it - terrible service, horrible speeds and reliability, and very costly. alot of people we know are waiting to switch from it.

Is there a system that you can use that does not require this. More less just looking for cameras

rf now has fibre optic with speeds of 100 mbps up and down for $139 a month with unlimited usage. I will be going with this option
