    Best Tablets 2018 Under $500

    Looking to buy a new tablet for surfing the web and updating Facebook. Will not be used for gaming but possibly watching videos / movies. Have had the Samsung E tab recommended. Any other recommendations or comments?

    I’ve had an iPad mini for years and love it. It’s $530 so just over your budget

    What phone do you have? If Iphone an Ipad would pair good with it. If you don't care I have a Samsung and love it.

    I have an Asus zenpad 3s 10. Very powerful tablet and under the $500 mark. Great speakers and screen, runs Android.  
    If you want something a little smaller the Huawei MediaPad m3 is a good option too.

    There are iPads for sale for $469 at Best Buy right now with 128 gb that work awesome for what you want.

    My kids have had Samsung's for years. All they do is watch videos with the occasional game. They have stood the test of time, and my kids are HARD on their tablets.
