Anyone have one to pick up digital channels? Do they work? I have a regular one for analog and can get CTV down here in Souris. Princess Auto has several of them for sale. Just wondering.

Did a quick search and only one analog and one digital came up for our area. Kinda a dinosaur thing these days.

CKND went HD on their tower at Minnedosa. It gets out at least as good as it used to but looks WAY better. They changed frequency from ch 2 to ch 9, so the perfect antenna for it is smaller than before. I can get it just fine indoors at my home in the bdn hills(a pretty good vantage-point), with any ole piece of wire stuck in the antenna connector.  
 
For souris (in town), I'd expect that you'll need to have an antenna in an upper-floor room, attic, or rooftop, but rabbit-ears on the tv might still work at their mid-length setting.  
 
When buying an antenna, try to make sure it covers "VHF-hi" band.

You need an outdoor antenna most likely for VHF-Hi to get Channel 9 (Global). Channel 4 should probably come in anyway at that angle, but is still analog and in SD. Aim the antenna toward the Channel 9 tower in Minnedosa. Compass directions below.
