Just a heads up. This week I got an letter in the mail from IDNS Canada saying my domain name on my website was expiring. I contacted my website provider and was told all was good. So letter will be going in the garbage. Beware!  
 
We also have had so many emails from a few different companies - SEO and Canadian Business Phone Book come to mind although there are more. These too are scams. They are very persistent and I am sure they get many businesses who don't realize it just sending them money.

iDNS, been a couple years since I've heard that name. Old scam that I guess has been resurrected. I got the same later back in 2016. I'd never heard of them at the time and the letter was very suspect. However a quick Google search confirmed it was a scam.

There is something every day in our machine. I have won trips, my Saudi uncle left me billions, my google listing is not valid, you name it they try it. I get a good dozen calls on my phone all the time too. Frustrating but easy to just hang up.

I get lots of calls to our business regarding our web page not being high on google hits. My process is the following: I don't do business with any company that can not give me their physical location and phone number where I can reach them and google their address. Who is the person in charge that I can call if there is an issue. once I get that information I inform then that the call is being taped to provide proof of agreement. ...should they call us back for any reason they have agreed to accept our min billing for our time and that is a flat $300. They then tell me I want to be put on their do not call list which I answer that will be their choice as I will accept their calls for a flat $300. at which time they do not accept the agreement and I state should they call that is an acceptance of the agreement so they need to assure themselves do not call. then I get transferred to a manager and go through process again...… fun.. I have emailed them confirmation of the agreement just to continue the process. lol. I told my assistant to follow the same procedure and should we ever get paid we will split it 50/50. she just wanted to hang up.
