Anybody have any recommendations for a VPN that doesn't drop a connection very often? I've been with CyberGhost since early December and am finding that it's necessary to keep switching servers across the globe because the Canadian one drops connections on a regular basis. Closest Canadian servers are Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Would be nice to find a VPN with servers in multiple Canadian locations.

Don't use PureVPN.  
 
The reliability is, alright. Some servers are better than others when it comes to speed and reliability (some countries drop immediately, some stay up for hours. Distance doesn't seem to be a factor either).  
Another annoyance i've had is some servers being listed as nation x, whilst being internally rerouted though nation Y (including some US servers!). A particular nuisance since I was trying to figure out if an american feed that was working before but had since quit working was due to geoblocking. I eventually figured out that the answer was yes.  
 
Mostly, I just don't like their customer service. Always seems like your chatting with a robot (these days, a distinct possibility).  
 
I've been thinking of trying out (down the road) either Nord VPN or Express VPN. Primarily Express since a podcast I listen to has often has a promo code for discounted service.

Fox Nation is a US streamig content provider in he US. When one (in Canada) tries to subscribe to the service, it comes up with a message that it's not available in Canada. Does a VPN trick the service provider to appear as a US location and allow a subs:cription to go through?

Unless they keep tabs on VPN associated IP's (I believe Netflix, Hulu and others do as a matter of MPAA compliance), it's a possibility.  
 
It depends what you mean by subs:cription. If you mean using a credit card, be careful. I'm not sure if the card number can give away your national origin, but even if not, your out that cash if the content provider eventually blocks the American VPN server you're using.

Express VPN . Great tech support and have not had any issues using their services . I mainly use it for Netflix and amazon prime .
