So I’m interested in getting set up onto an internet and cable package. I’m moving out of an apartment where the Internet was provided so now I’m wanting to get it all set up. I’m torn though. I’ve had MTS years ago but I was not the biggest fan. I’ve had Westman but found they were fairly expensive. I’m also curious about Shaw satellite. I’ve never had it but I’ve beeb interested in it.  
 
Any recommendations anyone can make would be a huge help. Personal feedback is always useful in these situations.

You will get recommendations for both. Honestly, they are both fine. Your best bet is to call Westman and MTS, tell them you want internet, and would like a 12 month promotion. Then decide on speed and see what the offer is. Don’t be afraid to tell Company A that Company B gave you a little better offer, and see if they drop a bit further price wise.  
Shaw satellite is not an option here, stick with the main 2.

Stay away from Shaw they’re super expensive with a million repeat channels.. bell you have to constantly reboot daily sometimes and tv pkgs are meh...Westman if you ask them for a deal will work with you and will try to compare or beat other prices! You just have to ask.

I switched from Westman to BellMTS and have never been happier. They had a promotion on for the first year for all three packages for $94/month. Check in with them that promotion may still be going on.  
I saved over $100 when I switched from Westman to BellMTS.

Right now you can get their extreme 150 at $60 a month 4 a year 150mbs down 15mbs up which is an unbelievable price up here lol or go with extreme 75 which I believe is 45 a month for the first year which will give you 75mb down and 7mbs up
