Does anyone have experience with these head units? They are essentially Android tablets and are so called because they look like the head units in Teslas. Supposedly they allow the user to retain all the functions of the factory head unit while also giving a great deal of customization regarding apps and interface design. I have a 2017 RAM 1500 Limited. The factory head unit is impressive in it's capabilities, BUT the factory NAV leaves a lot to be desired sometimes in errors in map data (still doesn't recognize Richmond Ave E, for example) The other thing that I would like is to be able to start the truck remotely using the UConnect phone app (range on the key fob is line of sight only and limited at that) which in turn necessitates an Android capable head unit. Just wondering if anyone has ever bought one of these Tesla radios and if they were happy with them?
