I was wondering what company people are using for high speed internet out in shilo and sprucewoods. My family is moving out there and our mts cant be setup there.

I thought there might be fiber optic access given that I saw directional drillers putting conduit and line down near shilo. Quite possible it was just for the base to connect to Brandon, maybe they rent lines out too. Depends on the contractual agreement with whoever laid the fiber. Yes, rural areas, need better internet access.  
 
I'm going to look into Starlink Internet. Netset does have towers, but they charge through the nose for data overages. Not too happy with my options.

Netset is now owned by Xplornet.

Doesn't Westman Communication Group serve out there? They list Shilo as one of their communities, but I don't know if that encompasses Sprucewoods as well.

I have Netset which changed to Xplorenet. All their plans are unlimited now. Just the speeds that change. We have the lowest package and regularly watch Netflix with rarely any issues. If gaming I guess maybe too slow but for general house use we have no complaints.

Very frustrating service. We are 14 miles south of brandon and only a half mile from a signal tower. We pay for the higher rate but it makes no difference in the peak times. Phoned them a few times and they suggested we get a new router. Bought a $ 200 router but there was no difference. In off peak times we are getting readings of around 30 and only 1 to 3 in peak times .
