I currently have Bell MTS HSI . It's getting very expensive. Looked into Westman, but they have very weak deals right now and have had bad experiences with them in the past. Are there any good (and AFFORDABLE) alternative hsi providers for Brandon, MB?

Is what I have. I'm out in the country, so the fibre optic options aren't for me. It seems pretty expensive compared to when I first got it when I-net Link started in Brandon, but it works fairly well. Mine is still an old plan where Netflix/browsing/gaming can't all operate at the same time (which is fine if you don't have many people using it). I've been thinking of upgrading now that everyone is doing so much working from home for who knows how long. The cheapest option is twice as fast as I have now, but it's $90/month plus tax. So.....

So basically there are no real cheaper options for hsi in Brandon then...

Nope they are all overpriced.  
I have xplornet at the farm which is slow but I have the cheap package and it isn’t unlimited, is also the only service available.  
In town we have westman . Seems to work fine.

If the price difference is somewhat close, remember westman is a coop, so you will get dividends back occasionally and if you move out of province you can request your equity paid back, its not huge but beats getting nothing back for your dollars spent.

all of explornet's packages are unlimited data now, just the speeds differ, but you have to contact them and change over, doesn't happen automatically.

I recently moved from MTS to westman wave. Although I am only saving about $30 per month, internet speed is 150mps instead of 2-50mps. I found Mts has very poor service compared to westman wave. My S.O. is about to move as well, over the next year, as it stands, she is set to save about $1,000.

Are Teksavvy, Cannet, or VMedia available in Brandon?

I am in need of saving $$ due to landlord upping my rent and cannot move due to code red restrictions. I inquired with Westman but they only have 3 month promos (was looking for 12 to 24mo offers)...
