    blue tooth speaker won't sync with smart tv

    I am trying to sync a blue tooth speaker with my smart tv, and it keeps "searching" and won't sync..  
    I've tried googling the problem, but with no results.  
    I'm hoping some techy person might have an easy way to fix this...thank you

    but it may help others answer if you give the make and model of the tv and also of the speakers.

    We have a speaker that will only sync with one thing at a time. We have to log out of whatever speaker was attatched to last even if that unit isn't on. If you were using the speaker on another unit unsync them and then try with the new unit you want to use.

    What are the brand and model numbers of the speakers and Smart TV? That may help.

    Make sure your bluetooth speaker is discoverable. Usually, it will have a blinking light when it is discoverable. The TV search will not find it unless it is discoverable. Usually you will push down (and hold) the bluetooth button on the speaker. Hope this works.

    the tv is a sony bravia 55 inch smart tv. about 2 years old. it is mounted to the wall so I can't see the model number. the speaker is a sony bluetooth speaker model srs-xb20 thank for all the responses
