Computer Eye Strain

I recently changed computers but not monitor. It seems ever since I started using this new computer, my eyes get sore and I have been getting headaches. I'm wondering if I should look into getting the graphics card changed and who to see about doing this.

could go into settings and change the screen brightness and see if that helps. Have you set the icon sizes and display at the original computer settings or are they now smaller, check your settings for screen display.
Otherwise I'm not sure how things could be different.

you use firefox browser, install firelux and set on custom filter to warm your screen and take out the blue tinge of the screen (or cool setting to some), see if that helps? I also use warm lighting in my apt whether watching tv or on my pc.
