Hi folks
I'm just getting feedup with tv channels I do not want having to buy the whole tv channel package for one channel I like it can get pretty prcey So I guess I would like thoughts .
What I do like is CTV , Global
A&E
TLC
HGTV
Food Network
would like all nature programs
Cat/dog shows
Now what are the options ?

Get a fire stick or Apple TV. Any streaming service they are fairly cheap and allow you to pick and choose programs way better then cable. And most of the time you don’t have to watch live. Just pick your show and watch away

StackTV might be your best option if those are the channels you want, they seem to advertise at least some of them. Can't speak to price/quality as I don't have it, but worth looking into.

I hate my FireStick. Its slow and unrepsonsive, and cannot find what I want to watch.

I havr tried StackTV on Prime, but the shows I want to watch say "unavailable", so I cancelled it, no point paying extra if its not going to actually let me watch it (and those shows said to get StackTV!)

Honestly, easier to just get a Starter TV pkg with a company and add in the couple extra channels I want. Example, Bell MTS Starter TV is $25, plus a tv box is $5, then the individual channels you want. I am sure it would be simiar for Westman.

Pluto TV is new to Canada. You can watch on your phone, computer or we added to our Roku.

Check this site and you can see if it has the shows you want

I do not want to watch shows on my cell or my computer . I wannt to watch shows on a regular tv .

You do not have to watch Pluto on computer or cell, but you will need a device to connect to your tv. Like a Roku or Firestick.

We love our fire sticks! I think StackTV would be the best app for you to watch those shows. It’s about $13 a month. The sticks go on sale for about $30-50 depending on the model. The only downside is you do need a stick per tv if you have more than one.

They do need to be reset sometimes but overall, we like it. I do find that my discovery+ and sometimes Disney apps will buffer but I’m assuming that’s an app issue and not the stick? I don’t know tho
