Hi, just wanting to know what is a great home security camera system? There are the reolink and Lorex. Are their software any good? Must I have to reboot the NVR regularly?
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

purchased a ONWOTE Wired 4K camera system 1 1/2 years ago. Only problem so far is had to reset password once. Good clear video. Was easy to set up.

Running a Lorex system for the last 3 years with 6 cameras. Zero issues. Easy to view using an app. Decent night vision. If I were going to buy another system tomorrow, it would be my first choice.

Lorex battery cameras

Are no good in our climate. Wired may be okay. Have 2 battery operated cameras and batteries only last a couple of weeks. No replacement batteries now for our cameras. Have a wired Eufy doorbell which works great. Will replace the Lorex with Eufy solar powered cameras soon.

Would you know of any good installer? It will be POE. Not wireless.

POE is the way to go in my opinion. Sorry, I don't know any installers, I installed mine myself.

If you're a semi handy person who can follow some instructions, it's really not that difficult. That said, I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea.

I have a Swann system with 4 cameras. Very easy to install. You will need a monitor. You can view the camera pictures via your cell phone. Very handy. Very reliable, and can be sourced locally.
