Bad Service

So, a friend of mine bought a computer at a store in Brandon. She also bought the extended warranty. Just over a year after the purchase, her computer craps out. She takes it back to the store and of course they agree to fix it since she has the warranty. To fix it, they require you to fill out a form with some basic information. One of the questions is "Do you want your files backed up". She of course checks "yes". While the computer was being fixed, she spoke to the I.T. person on 3 occasions, and each time was asked if she wanted her files backed up, to which she replied yes. So she gets her computer back, and though its working, everything is lost. They "forgot" to back up her files. So she's lost a years worth of pictures and files. They had also convinced her to purchase 2 anti virus and Adware programs with the agreement they would install them. They didn't. When she called and spoke to the Tech manager after getting the computer back, she was told "it's not our problem".
Any advice on where she should go from here? She's extremely upset at the loss of her pictures and would have backed them up herself if they had not assured her they were doing so.
