Help...Facebook isn't working for me

Can anyone help or give me some suggestions? I have been unable to get onto Facebook all weekend. I keep getting the same message:
"Sorry, an error has occurred. We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can."
Any other website that I try works. Is this happening to anyone else? I feel so unconnected - like my life is meaningless.lol. But seriously it is driving me nuts.
