iPod Touch experiences huge growth since Christmas

I was reading the linked article below in which they discuss estimated usage statistics for the Apple iPod Touch as a web browser. After my trip to Future Shop yesterday (completely sold out of all but the most expensive model), it's only half surprising to hear that they estimate usage in Canada grew a whopping 3.4x in one month from November to December. Worldwide, requests from the Touch and iPhone (which as a web browser are basically the same thing) represent 15.5% of all requests.
This differs from eBrandon, where only 0.5% of combined requests from both devices have been made over the past month (likely to change with eBrandon mobile).
How many out there are using a Touch or an iPhone? and for those that aren't, do you see yourself having a need to have a smaller web surfing device to visit your favorite sites?
