MTS Internet + Packet Loss/Ping Issues

Hello,
I have come here to ask for possibly some help due to most of us having the MTS high speed internet. I have enjoyed the services from MTS for the past few years, and yes...I have loved it. It has been reliable, stable and fast.
However, in the most recent months (past three) I have been having major issues with my internet which effects my internet and profession. I contacted MTS support, and they said the packet loss/ping issues we're due to network maintenance and should be back to normal over the next three days. Well, I waited those days over and called back five days after looking for an answer.
We came to the conclusion that perhaps it was either my modem, which had been over eight years old, so I had it replaced with a new, better model from MTS. The issue, persisted. I decided I would spend my hard earned money on a new router, another possible problem in my network. Same result, the problem persisted. Finally, I tried connecting directly to my modem and the problem was STILL there.
I am absolutely fed up, I cannot change the internet provided and quite frankly, If I could get back the performance of a few months ago...I would be ecstatic. Now, I have trouble shot everything else, spy ware, viruses, malware, etc.
If anybody else has had this problem,or has this problem or a solution...please, I would love your help.
