Deleting a partition on a HD
4/5/2009 at 5:31 PM
On my Mom's computer I had originally partitioned a 80gb hd into 15gb for c:, and the rest is e:. The c: has XP and other installed programs. E: was just used for pictures and other various files, no programs were installed on e:. The c: is now filled up, I would like to delete the e: partition and have the hd as only c:.
When I delete e:, will it wipeout all on c:? The files on e: are backedup. I would like to avoid having to reinstall XP and all of the other programs if possible. Or could I just adjust the partition sizes and make c: 75gb and e: 5gb?
