Internet Problems... has anyone experienced problems with their routers.

I have a wireless router at our house and our internet has gone down. I have noticed though its not the ISP, I believe its our router. But what puzzles me is that I noticed our neighbors wireless connections have disappeared from the air too. I don't know these people to ask them, so I'm asking you guys if you have seen or know of anyone else having problems such as this. It seems to started happening since the big power outage. I'm really POed that I need to go and buy a new router though. I have tried resetting the router only for it to do the same thing again. I think something is fried inside.
