Blackberry Memory Cards..New to the BB world...what do I look for?

Does a Blackberry need a special BB memory card, or can one buy something generic to store more photos, music, etc?
I haven't had much time to delve into this yet as I just got my device last week, but hopefully will buy something locally that will do a good job.
Any thoughts or comments on where to go, what to buy and ballpark prices on memory cards for the phone?
I don't need to store a whole lot, just some random music and a few more photos than the basic BB allows..maybe a vid here and there.
