Problem with Slide show !

Hope someone could help me with my problem.
Made a slide show with Windows movie maker.. Have pictures, transitions, music(mp3)..Turned out great.. Saved to hard-drive and then burned a copy on both dvd and cd with NeroStartsmart.. Plays great on pc.. but won't play on dvd player. Comes up as an Error disc.. I'm assuming I have the wrong format or something. BUT. I'm an ole fart and can't seem to figure it out. My son has made these in the past with the exact same program and sent them to me from B.C. and they worked great..So, what the heck am I doing wrong..
PLEASE HELP !
