Help!!! My computer infected with Security tool! Can't get it off!

Hye, So, my computer is infected with Security Tool, and I can't seem to get it off. I watched a youtube vid about hwo to get it off, and they say to go into 'My Documents', and then under Application Data.....So the thing is we got to where it showed the 'Apllication Data' folder, and clicked on it....and it told us "acess Denied". I have no idea what to do! Some one please help! How can you get past this 'Acess denied' to delete security tool?????
