I couldnt find the original discussion but I wanted to hear how people are liking the new game.  
 
For myself I only play multiplayer with about 10 or 12 buddies online (xbox 360). So my quick review will be based on Multiplayer experience.  
 
I found the experience by Tryarch to be much different then with MW2 which was built by Infinity Ward. I realize they are not supposed to be the same games or experiences but I found that the overall multiplayer gameplay and graphics fell short of what I expected on a new version. I found the players and landscapes to be kind of having a cartoon feel to it as oppose to the more realistic (graphics) MW2 engine. The only other short coming I have with the multiplayer is forming a party of friends and entering a game. The server was working well yesterday and myself and two others could play the matches but last night four of us could not enter into a game.  
 
Is the game a huge upgrade from mw2...in some aspects yes but imo as far as graphics and playing within a group Infinity ward took the cake on the last game and Tryarch is making money off MW2 hype.  
 
Pros: The new point system, Variety of weapons, Huge maps, Overall look and feel of the menus.  
 
Cons: Graphics, servers, sounds effects  
 
 
But I will play it and it is fun :D level 24 and counting ha.
