Yep...for 1.08B apparently. Montreal-based Astral now becomes the largest radio outlet in Canada and picks up all 4 of Manitoba's Standard properties:
Hot 103FM - Winnipeg
QX 104FM - Winnipeg
KX 96FM - Brandon
THE FARM 101FM - Brandon
What kind of impact this will have locally is yet to be determined, but there is a lot of talk about Canadian radio drifting toward the way of American radio where every station is basically owned by one of two companies.
