I just downloaded skype a few days ago and my daughter and I have been trying it out. I got brave yesterday and paid the $35.00 which gives me unlimited long distance to the Canada and the US for 12 months.  
 
Than I tried headphones, mics, and finally a v-tec phone for Skype. I liked the phone the best as it is cordless and I'm not stuck sitting at the putter.  
 
I phoned a few different people and no one knew the difference.  
So far I'm impressed.  
They don't have numbers for Canada yet which means that people can't call me back on skype unless they have skype.  
 
I'm going to try it out for a couple of months and if I like it, I will be cancelling my MTS phone as friends and family without skype can call me on my cell phone.  
 
Just wondered if anyone else was using skype and what they think of it?
