Should Westman Communications join the cellphone business?

I came across a news story from a site I regularly visit once in a while. CBC has an article about the upcoming wireless spectrum auction that's occurring in the distant future. Some of the many companies looking to use this as a way to become a new national carrier include companies such as MTS and Quebec company Videotron.
But also, it mentioned that "smaller cable companies such as Westman" might look into getting in the race.
Here's the article:

Do you think Westman should get into the Cellphone industry?
Personally, I would love to see a second GSM (Rogers technology) in the Westman area, but if Westman came in, they'd be focusing on rural customers, this would give customers in places that only have MTS as an option a second option for cellphones.
