We are looking to switch to internet/wifi at home instead of just cell phones with data. We live near Sidney/Austin and have no clue what high speed internet providers are available. We don't want something with just 20 G of data, we need more.  
 
What do you recommend?

I had wireless internet installed in the middle of winter about 3 years ago. The installer was great, and the system has worked really well, in all kinds of weather too! As long as there is a tower reasonably close and they can get a signal, you should be set! Check out their website for the different packages and pricing.....and don't be scared to give them a call. Great service in my opinion.

Check with RF Now for coverage. Company out of Virden. My parents have used them for 10 years and never had a problem. Not sure if they still do it but they were the only ones doing unlimited transfer back when INetLink had 5GB data caps.

We tried:  
1- Xplornet: Garbage speend, crazy prices, no service  
 
2- Roger's Rocket Hub: workef great for a bit, then speed went way down when they started sharing towers or something  
 
3- Finally we went with Netset. Great speed for cheaper than the other 2 I mentioned and loads of download amount. We have a teenager in the house.

We have netset. It's great except for their email. If you get netset just use a gmail account.

very happy with netset always get my advertised speeds if not a bit better, other than the new email service. when they were using gmail it seemed better, the new email server is ok, and I can live with it, but if you are already using a gmail or Hotmail account just keep it

Just moved to the country and installed Netset. We have the "Best" package and find that it works great. We watch Netflix on several different devices and stream all the time, with no problems or delays. The quality of the internet is exactly what we needed. I will admit that I hate dealing with their customer support team. Could be due to summer holidays but seemed like anytime I called to get setup they would transfer me to someone (I assume account manager) and then we played phone tag for roughly a month, before I was able to get the account setup. Technically Netset is amazing, service wise I am disappointed. Just my opinion!
