My desktop is failing. I took it to Geekz but they made it worse. I emailed Juggernaut and they never replied. Where do you like to get your computer repairs done?

Geekz are very good what did they do to make it worse Im sure if you took it back and they did wrong they would make it right.

What is happening with it? Have taken many things to Geekz and they always come through.

Ya I'd take it back to the boys at Geekz. I have dealt with them almost since they opened and never once have I felt like they made it worse.

My desktop gets power but rarely boots up unless I hit the reset several times. Then just today it won't boot at all. Before taking it to Geekz I had two DVD drives but now I have one. After Geekz I have several Windows Updates that continuously fail at loading.

Why are you not taking it back to Geekz?

Take it back to Geekz! I've gone after a problem has reoccurred months later and they have fixed it again without charging me. They also have told me when it's a waste of money to fix and it's time for a new computer.

hit the reset a few times ? as it physically, or reboot it a few times and it finally comes on  
 
if its physically you can unplug the button as on some cases the button sticks  
if its a reboot then you might have software issues . now about the two dvd's vs one , its a $35 fix to add a second , but I am not sure why you would need two and I am not sure why they would take one out unless it was bad

I haven't taken it back because I need it for work. I didn't lose the DVD hardware, just the software access to it. I had two because one is blue ray and the other is light scribe. I'm planning on taking it back sometime tomorrow.

The software I dunno, it's not normal practice for them to go threw your system and remove programs unless it is causing problems. As for the booting, I had a computer do that before. I believe it was my motherboard failing. Or could have been the hard drive. Either way, if it's not right just take it back in and they will fix it up. Sometimes they will even take a quick look while you wait.
