Is anybody in Brandon playing this game? I'm loving it!

yes I am playing it. Its awesome!

I can't seem to find it on the google play store on my phone. I was curious and wanted to check it out. When I go to the website is says it's not available in your country. Am I missing something?

can't find it because its not in canada yet. People who have it have gotten it illegally....they risk of being banned from it when it is released in canada

With the fact that people are glued to their phones while walking. I myself stepped in a puddle the other night because I wasn't paying attention lol. You can tell who is playing in our small town because their are only a couple pokestops and you see the same people at them lol. It's actually pretty funny!

Basic jist of the story is a group of teenagers used the geolocation part of the pokemon go app to lure players to an isolated location in St Louis where they were robbed at gun point. On the bright side the NSA wont have to listen in to your phone calls, between pokemon go and facebook. They will be able to trace your every movement.

Once you start playing, it seems like nearly everyone out there is too! Player base is friendly. Rival teams make for interesting and fun gameplay.  
 
Reports of our police force are playing as well. I heard one siting of them burning red lights to stop in time for a pokestop. It's such a hilarious way to spend your free time. And gets you out of the house too! Really brings people together in a good way. People are talking to one another on the streets! It's amazing.

is anyone on an iPhone here. Every time I try and create a new iTunes account in the ap store it wants a payment option always linking me back to Canada

The way around entering a credit card is going to the App Store and download a free app and when it says to sign up with a new Apple ID do it that way. There will be an option for "none" in the credit card spot

playing with my 5 year old, he gets SO excited when he catches one. We're normally pretty active but it has encouraged us to go for a few more walks and walk a few more blocks trying to catch a nearby pokemon or hatch an egg

Can anybody else confirm that? Downtown in my town and Tim Hortons is always a hot spot.

I don't think that it is considered an "illegal download" because somebody downloaded it. (I may be wrong though)  
 
If you do a google search for the game, you should be able to down load it from the internet. Just go to google and type in "Pokémon Go APK" and that should bring it up.

I have an iPhone 5S and was able to officially download Pokemon Go from the Canadian iTunes Store earlier this evening.  
 
That's right, it's officially out in Canada!

For security measures I have reinstalled my Pokémon Go from the play store. I would urge people to do the same. You won't lose anything but its more secure than some apk you download off the Internet

Annoying..... I caught my first Pokemon then it says what do I want to call it I've typed in about 30 different names and words and says that name isn't avaiable

I have the camera setting on but it isn't showing anything. It's just a lady running around blue space.

Up my avatar thing. It says I caught my first Pokemon. However . I might need someone's kid to show me what to do. I'm is just walking around in green space!! This could be a major time waster once I figure it out!!

Your avatar will walk in place until you yourself starts moving. This game is designed to get you walking outdoors.

What I thought! So when you out and about your avatar will move about too. When you come across another avatar you kill it? How do you do that? Lol. Stupid game already. You you have to have your head buried in your device to know you are near another avatar? Or does your device send you notification?

So after you catch all the Pokemon what do you do? What happens at the gyms? I have fun catching them and have a few rare ones but I'm not sure what I do with them next.
