New MTS TV Interface

What are your impressions of the new interface for MTS TV? I concur that graphically it's more attractive than the predecessor, but at the cost of slower load times. You can tell that there's a perceptible lag from the time you click a remote button and the time the screen changes.

What part?

We all hate change. Change will never stop. I LOVE the new format. Maybe it does not count as I am a tech with the company........ :-)

What I mean is that there is a noticeable lag from the time I press a button on the remote to the time the screen changes on the TV. With the old interface, this wasn't readily apparent. I LIKE the eye candy component of the new interface, but it seems that screen reaction time has been sacrificed in the process.

you have to play around with it to learn it.

Press menu on your remote
scroll down to settings
then over to setup favorites to set it up

how many TV's connected in the house?

Not that this matters but what I have found is that in some cases the set top boxes that are connected to the RG/Modem via coax tend to respond slightly slower than the set top boxes connected via ethernet. With the new media room version, it could possibly be a bit slower. I will have to check this out at some point in time.

Just two. The main set in the living room is connected to the router via Ethernet and the auxiliary set in the bedroom via coax. There is a noticeable lag in the display refresh on both sets now with the new interface.

After the update I noticed a lag too.
I reset the system (unplugged router, and phone line) for 30 seconds. Plugged back in.
Now everything works great
The only thing I don't like on MTS tv is Netflix's app. Load time and lag is extremely long.

I like the new looks but hate how the history button only goes to last channel. I liked having 4 or 5 channels I could scroll threw on there for quick changing
