Dash cam recommendation

Just wondering what is the best dashcam out there between the price of $100 and $150?
One that can help with protecting a parked car also.

I have one of these dash cameras. It's not the most fully featured ones, but does the job. One nice thing about dash cams is that are they not only good for incidents, but for capturing other things you might see on your travels. Scenery, weather, unique vehicles, etc..

Go to amazon.ca and punch in Auto-Vox d7 dash cam. It's roughly 134 dollars. Shipping i:ncluded. It is a fantastic dashcam for the price! It's all run through your cell phone. But records when your not in the vehicle. You will thank me later. Enjoy!

I got 2 cheap ones less than $40, I got my money's worth. The resolution is a lie, and one failed after the first hot day, returned it for refund. The other works, but the screen colors go funny when hot, records fine. The features and menus on both were horrible.

I haven't used any more expensive ones than this, hopefully the $100 price-point will yield a better experience.

I'll be reading this thread in the future also to see what a few extra $ gets you for my next dash cam...

I bought this one for my fiancé for Christmas. It has tons of features. It's a nice little dashcam. It can record when parked and not in the vehicle but with that being said, it has to be plugged into one of those cigarettes lighter type ports so it runs off your vehicles battery. I'll most likely go with the Roav because it has parking sensor.
