Help! Valentine's Day Ideas

This will be the second Valentine's Day that my girlfriend and I are celebrating together. Last year I cooked her supper and it was... par at best.
I want to do something different, affordable and fun. What are some ideas for gifts and/or activities aside from the old supper and flowers deal? Help!
