So we now know that there were MP's actively participating/assisting with foreign powers to influence elections in this country.  
When does this become treason, and should their names be published? Remember, CSIS has already investigated and identified them.

The biggest problem is, people don't care about what is happening in government. There has been so many scandals involving our prime minister, with out any punishment. That is why they blocked us from sharing any news on social media, most people get their info from social media now. I guess at the very least, our politics are amusing to the rest of the world.

Where do you get your information?  
 
Big Canadian media lobbied the government to force social media outlets like Facebook, Google News and Yahoo to stop linking the news from Canadian news outlets. Bell Media and Rogers wanted this to drive more visitors to their website. So, in response to BellMedia and Rogers, the Canadian Government caved and made a law forcing the likes of Meta, Yahoo and Google to have to pay BellMedia and Rogers for the rights to share links to news articles. So, in response, Facebook and all the rest refused to pay and simply stopped allowing posts from News media on their platforms.  
 
Your beef is with Meta, Google, Yahoo, Bell and Rogers, NOT Trudeau...you've been brainwashed. Perhaps if you got your news from places other than Facebook you would already know this.

Gear down buddy! The topic was MP's involved in outside interference. I simply pointed out that nobody knows what's going on since the social media ban, Which was pushed through by this government

The source of so many problems. Reading an opinion piece or unverified posts on FB or Meta, watching someone making "news" content from their basement on YouTube does not equate to news.  
 
Social media has algorithms that shows you more of what you watch, you make your own echo chamber of false narratives.  
 
We'd be better off if more people understood that.  
 
Try actual fact based, vetted news providers with little bias like the BBC or AP.  
 
I know the original post isn't about social media but people need to understand it's not news.

Not trying to start a war, but I'd have to say PrimeConvoy is correct : News providers in Canada were tired of Facebook/Google/etc linking to their news stories with no compensation to the news provider. The Feds agreed and said there should be compensation.  
In response, Facebook/Google/etc said we're not paying you, and dropped the news links.  
So it isn't a "social media ban", but simply a financial disagreement that seems to have gotten out of hand.

I agree with all this! And it's very relevant to the OPs original question about foreign influence - one of the primary ways foreign actors exert their influence on a population as a whole is social media. With the disappearance of legitimate news sources from social media because of this little financial spat, it's amplified the influence they have.  
 
Circling back to the original question about releasing names - that's a tricky one as it needs to be beyond a shadow of the doubt. It's career-ending and potentially criminal if it did happen. Just as importantly, we need to understand what other governments had a role and if it actually did influence the outcome.

While I would love to see an RCMP investigation and charges laid in this situation, we know how long those type of things take. It could be years before anything was made public. That's if the sitting government doesn't interfere which we know has happened with other investigations.  
However we should not be too distracted by when or how an investigation happens in the short term. There is another answer. These people have due cause to be fired from their jobs. All parties involved should do just that. Remove the MP's, name an intern and hold an election to replace them. Just like every job we have, there do not need to be criminal convictions confirmed in a court of law to be fired. So fire them!! Any party that does not see this as a potential path forward is simply providing cover for the actions of their members. As far as these peoples careers ending? Too bad, they can step away from the government trough and get a real job. Might be tough to provide the reference from your previous employer though!  
Choose the action, choose the consequence!

MP’s it says and they know the individuals involved.  
 
They need to be named and booted out.  
 
It is not ‘government or any party”. It is individuals that have been paid to do this as no one does anything unless money is involved.  
 
Name the names for the citizens that trusted and voted them in.
