Ok, so I have realized a few things since coming out to manitoba last year, and it makes me laugh.
Across the country, we have some very interesting words to describe different things across the country, so I want to see what there is out there. Here are some of mine! Most of these my friends have never heard of, so is it just them, or am i alone on this one?
1-"You know"...apparently from Toronto, but I use it quite a bit. It's used as a word like ummm or like!
2-Public School- ex. That boy goes to public school. In this case, public means grades K-8. High School is 9-12.
3- Portable- a separte classroom from a school.
