I meant to bring this up yesterday afternoon when I got back from dropping my grandchildren off with their mom.. but forgot about it after seeing another accident.. so I'm doing it today.  
 
Yesterday ( Sunday ) afternoon while driving E and then again coming back W on #1.. between Brookdale and about 92RD E/W .. I noticed a lot of garbage bags alongside the highway. Then I noticed on the N side of the highway, in the ditches back by the trees, a number of Jeeps , positioned every couple hundred metres. There was a group of people out cleaning up the roadsides. I don't know what organization they were with, but it was so lovely to see. I wanted to commend them for doing such a wonderful job! Now if we all took a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon, or indeed any afternoon and applied ourselves in a similar manner.. what a lovely sight it would leave!
