Discussions

A lot of people are calling for the resignation of the minister of defence over the treatment of Afghan detainees and then several contradictory statements about whether the Canadian government knew about what was going on, or if they were doing anything about it.  
 
Personally I think he's gotta go. If we're pretending we care about the Afghan people and are in their country to help them, then how can we be complicit in torturing prisoners?
