Not wanting to sidetrack this thread. But anyone know what the cost of moving a house this size? A friend moved a small bungalow which cost $12000. What did this move cost when power lines have to be moved?  
 
Anyone else wonder if they would try moving it through Kemny? My tongue is in my cheek.

really people, are you that shortminded. Just to have the hydro off for "maybe" half hour? And it seems to be the end of the world?  
Just so you know the house made it safely where it supposed to be. Thanks to some very dedicated people and they really know what they are doing.  
To the people with all the complaints of oh my business is suffering without hydro for half hour or my oven is off for 30 minutes. You can't say you didn't get a heads up about it, so i agree and also say "get over it" or "suck it up princess"

One of the very first episodes of the UK/Former Discovery TV show Monster Moves TV show showed the grain elevator in La Rivière being moved to Somerset about 10 years back
