I should first note that after reviewing additional minutes on the RM website at the link below, it appears to me that the legality of the resolution prohibiting social media usage may be undergoing some form of review or challenge:

I am not privy to all facts behind the reason for the resolution being tabled and passed by a count of 4-2 nor any facts relating to any legal proceedings and therefore will not pass judgement on this case personally. That said it has been passed by council, is detailed at the link posted by an eBrandon member above and I have seen no information that would indicate it is no longer in place. As a result eBrandon will respect the resolution at this time and this discussion will be closed.
Should there be a legal challenge to council's ruling eBrandon would also respect the results of that challenge whatever they may be and this discussion may be re-opened at a later date as appropriate.
