I fully understand that there are more legitimate refugees than terrorists in the millions of people that have already fled the region.
However, there is widespread proof of what you are saying - it has been reported by many agencies that there have been hundreds of terrorist linked people found with fake passports in these waves of people.
Now is not the time to bend rules and lighten security checks just to stick to a campaign promise of "25,000" in such a short period of time. Now is the time to be even more diligent with checks.
I also do not believe for a second that many of these millions of "refugees" are actually refugees. I have read too many stories now from around the world that makes it sound like these are people looking for economic change rather than truly running from terror. These waves of people sound more like planned over running of countries rather than running in fear. Countries are being overwhelmed by the sheer numbers and it makes these people look more like locusts than scared people.
I heard the tail end of a story yesterday on CNN where they said something like 4 million refugees have left the Syrian region in the last two years. I would like to know how many terrorists are actually there that 4 million people would rather run away than stand up for their homeland. That is a pretty large number.
Something seems very off - it is very hard to know who to believe here. It may be a case of access to too much information, but not enough at the same time.
