The employees should not have to pay with a pay cut because of management's poor decisions. Many of you know that when an employer tells you to do something you do it or face the repercussions. They had no say in any of this. They just followed orders so they could keep their jobs. Anyone involved in the decision making of the bipol III project should be 100% to blame and pay with pay cuts and loss of this years bonuses. Even loss of their jobs for being inadequate in their position. I'm tired of hearing everyone trying to blame the employees instead of getting to the real source. The politicians and management. Sadly my rant will not change the fact that PUB will grant the increase and we will pay for their mistakes while they keep their jobs and continue making decisions.

We all know the Spendp ruined Manitoba Hydro but they will all be living on a big fat pension now. The rest of us will be paying for it for decades.

I did that too. I stated that for some of us they are giving us the choice of eating or having lights. This is ridiculous. I don't know how my mother is going to be able to afford the increase. She's on a very limited budget already and it scares me to think about how it will affect her and many of us just getting by as it is. I doubt that our opinion will even count.

They probably were thinking that if they ask 7.9 everyone will think 3.3 is a deal! I doubt many get a 3.3% raise in income.

Inflation or the cost of doing business goes up 2% per year.  
 
Most years they haven't increased rates. I guess it's payback time.
